Poppets are designed to protect the house, a single person or the whole family from various dark arts & can be passed on as a valuable relic. They can ward off the evil eye & damage, heal the sick & protect the weak. They come in different versions, depending on the functions attributed to them. It doesn't matter if you call it a poppet, a spirit doll or a voodoo doll - these tiny human replicas have been a part of magic since before written history. 

Hand made poppet is a powerful talisman & serve the owners throughout their lives. The primary task of the poppet is to attract what is desired for a particular person or family, to fill the house with warm energy, to bring peace, happiness & prosperity to all residents.. When I create the poppets, only natural materials, crystals & herbs are used & prepared in my personal space, in a good magical mood.

Each doll is made with a very simple face, symbolizing the purity of thoughts & the animation of the owners. There are no painted or embroidered eyes, mouth & nose, so that evil spirits would not inhabit them & evil thoughts would not be transferred. When drawing or embroidering a face on a doll, creator can unconsciously give her a resemblance to a certain person. This, in turn, can significantly reduce the properties of the amulet, can tie such a doll to certain person & transfer to him/her all the hardships from the amulet. Filled with buckwheat husks & herbs.

The poppet must always be activated, otherwise it will remain just a toy & will not have magical powers. In order to charge the amulet with positive energy in the process of its creation or activation, it is necessary to tune into positive thoughts. You can't think about your problems. You can also mentally tell the doll what it is created for. 

When the amulet is ready, you will need to name & greet her: “I greet you, ( name ). Glad to see you in my house." The doll must be praised & thanked in advance for all the good deeds that she will do. 

If the amulet is created for another person, the doll must be informed about this so that she knows her owner. 

Such a charm can be stored in a clearly visible place. However, it should not be freely available. If someone constantly touches the doll, especially a stranger, its magical power will decrease.

Poppet can serve a person all his life. But if it becomes untidy, changes its appearance, spots or mold appear on it or the threads break, you will need to say goodbye. In this case, your poppet took the blow on herself & suffered from some negative forces. Poppet should now be buried, burned or thrown into the moving water without any regrets, be sure to thank her for looking after you.

Protective Ritual:

You will need: 

Birch branches, Eucalyptus, Sage, Thyme, Parsley, Oak leaves, Birch bark 

Cedar oil or Pine oil

A piece of fabric from any of your clothes

Black cotton thread

An Acorn

Begin the ritual on the full moon. 

Make a doll skeleton out of Birch branches by tying them with black thread & using an Acorn for the head. 

Draw a pentagram on a piece of Birch bark with Pine oil & tie the bark to the doll's skeleton. 

Sew your clothes into clothes for the doll. Dress the skeleton in clothes & fill it with herbs & black cotton threads. 

Put a section of your hair there. 

Oil the finished doll with Pine oil & place it on the altar.
Make a circle. 

In the south, light a white Candle; 

in the west, place a cup of Water; 

in the north, place a saucer of Salt; 

in the east, light a Sandalwood incense stick. 

Say: “Magic doll, my little friend, take all the harm away from me, protect me night & day! 

I will consecrate you with this rite, filled you with protective herbs. 

Protect me, little friend, 

may I always be unharmed & by the power of three keep everywhere. 

May it be so!"
Take the doll & pass it through the flame of a candle in the south, sprinkle it with water from a cup in the west, sprinkle it with salt in the north & pass it through the smoke of an incense stick in the east. 

Put the consecrated doll in a white linen bag along with the Agate stone, Rose petals & Rosemary. 

Carry the doll with you as a talisman.
