MAGIC OF THE PUMPKIN

Pumpkins represent abundance, prosperity & luck. They are associated with mysterious, unknown, dark & all kinds of magick, focusing on health, fertility & wealth.

Pumpkin seeds are considered a symbol of abundance, wealth, fertility, good health & prosperity.

Keeping a Pumpkin in your divination space provides additional information about your predictions.
Place a Pumpkin on your altar & light a candle on it when doing any work that involves discovering & developing your magical skills.

A whole Pumpkin cleanses negative energy & turns it into positive energy.
Place Pumpkin on the table on a plate & tie a red ribbon to the stem, it will act as a protective talisman against bad energy. If there is a negativity in the house, the Pumpkin will change color, crack & rot in just a few days. Such fruit should be burned, or having been fed with negative energies, it begins to act as a vampire, sucking health & good luck from all the living creatures around.
Pumpkin & dishes made from it are guardians of beneficial energy, so, for example, Pumpkin juice is a remedy for scandals & domestic conflicts.
Pumpkin seed oil can be added to perfume or used to protect your home when mixed with water & sprayed around the house.
If you want to attract health & good luck to the house, then you need to put the Pumpkin in the most prominent &  honorable place. It can also be placed on the windowsill, where it will protect people living in the house from negativity & dark forces that penetrate through the windows.
Pumpkin seeds are used to make Pumpkin oil, to bring good luck to the person using it, as well as drive away envy & hatred.
The sound of dried Pumpkin seeds placed in a rattle scares away evil spirits.
For protection, carving ghoulish & scary faces on Pumpkins &  placing them on your doorstep helps protect your home from wandering, harmful spirits during Halloween time.
Leaving half a Pumpkin cut open in any room, but especially in the kitchen, would attract negative energies into your living space.

Pumpkin placed in the bedroom of the newlyweds will attract health & longevity to the new family, as well as help to conceive children.

In order for peace & tranquility to reign in the house, Pumpkin should be placed in the dining room or living room.

If you are working at a desk, then you can put a small Pumpkin on it to take away all the negativity & increase your efficiency.

Giving a Pumpkin is  a good omen, because with it you give a piece of light, joy & warmth.

Pumpkins are a symbol of prosperity & can be placed on the altar, hearth & threshold to bring prosperity to the home & to those who live in it.
In order to increase your financial well-being, you need to take a handful of Pumpkin seeds & throw them into the river, having previously addressed them with your request.
For good luck & prosperity, fry some Pumpkin seeds & place them in a small bag made of soft cloth.

We can carve & light a candle in Pumpkins so that our ancestors can find us & communicate.
Candle placed inside a carved Pumpkin lantern is also a symbol of spirits who have gone to another world, who have never found peace.

The most recognisable symbol of Halloween is a Pumpkin carved into a jack-o-lantern, which origin is found in Celtic Ireland.
Glowing jack-o-lanterns, traditionally carved from Turnips or Gourds, were set on porches & on windows to welcome deceased loved ones, but also to act as protection against malevolent spirits. Burning lumps of coal were used inside as a source of light, later to be replaced by candles.
When the Irish arrived in America, they found the native Pumpkin to be larger, easier to carve & seemed the better choice for jack-o-lanterns.

Among the ancient Aztecs, the Pumpkin was one of the images of the Sun on Earth, it represented a connection with the sky & the possession of great wealth, both material & spiritual.

In some African tribes, Pumpkin was used for purification rituals, with adults smearing their bodies with the pulp to purify their spirits.

Pumpkin is sacred to the Yoruba goddess Oshun & is offered to her in exchange for wishes regarding love, money & fertility. Place whole Pumpkin smeared with honey by the river as an offering to Oshun if you want to conceive a child.
Throw a handful of Pumpkin seeds into the river & ask for financial well-being.
It is important to know that Pumpkin & its seeds are considered children of Oshun. If you work with her magic, you should refrain from eating Pumpkin in any form.

In China, there is a tradition to give  husband a large Pumpkin as a symbol of well-being & prosperity.
Chinese healers place a Pumpkin at the bedside of the patient so that it can pick up the disease & charge the patient with positive energy.

Pumpkin seeds have been eaten by Mayan's to help get over grief from a broken heart.

Pumpkins that have begun to deteriorate, according to the beliefs of the Balkan Gypsies, can suck the life energy from the people around them, create diseases & failures. Vampire Pumpkins are a belief of the gypsies. The potential vampire is activated when the Pumpkin is stored for more than 10 days or is not consumed before Christmas. Leaving the Pumpkin out all night, in the light of a Full Moon, can also activate the transformation. Not every Pumpkin is guaranteed to turn into a vampire, as not every corpse is expected to come to life. Vampire Pumpkins give themselves away by making noises or showing red, blood-like spots on their surface. In general, you don't have to worry about Pumpkins, however, they are negative when they gradually absorb energy from those around them. If a person is weakened with low energy & a weak aura, such Pumpkins can eventually cause damage, although this is a slow process. Vampire Pumpkins also attract evil spirits. Dip vampire Pumpkins in boiling water to kill them. Then break them into pieces & throw them away. The traditional weapon for destroying them is a branch or wooden stick, which is then also thrown away.

Good Luck:
Take few Pumpkin seeds in your right hand during the Waxing Moon & say:
"Just as a huge Pumpkin will grow out of these small seeds,
so I will become lucky, prosperous & rich.
So be it."
It is not necessary to repeat it word for word, but most importantly, to believe that it will be so.
Plant the Pumpkin seeds for the next year & wait for the harvest.

One of the most effective pumpkin rituals is held on Halloween night, from October 31 to November 1. This holiday is a time of transition from light to darkness, a night when the boundaries between worlds are opened & the world passes from one state to another.
For the rite of wealth, you will need:
Pumpkin
green fabric
17 banknotes of any denomination
11 coins of any denomination
items associated with prosperity (nuts, seeds, oats, bread)
Take a Pumpkin & peel it from the inside.
Put a small piece of green cloth inside the Pumpkin.
Put all the money on the cloth.
Top with nuts, seeds, etc.
When the Pumpkin is full, make the sign of the pentacle over it & say:
"As the gourd is full, so will my life be full of
luck & prosperity, money, gifts & sweet things.
So be it!"
At midnight from October 31 to November 1, put the Pumpkin somewhere outside the threshold.
On the morning of November 1, take the Pumpkin & bury it.

Pumpkin seeds ritual for money.
This ritual is very effective & is enough to do it only once to be a well-off person for the rest of your life.
Pumpkin is for wealth & seeds are the money that makes up this wealth.
The ritual can only be done on the Growing Moon.
Buy a whole Pumpkin, or even better, use the one planted & grown with your own hands.
Remove all the Pumpkin seeds, rinse & dry for one day.
All empty seeds must be selected & thrown out, they are immediately noticeable - they are flat. When the seeds dry up a little, you can start the ritual.
Prepare any Pumpkin dish you wish & leave it on the stove or in the oven.
Pour the dried seeds on the table & lay the words 3 times on them:
"As in a prison without light,
my money was locked up,
but I opened the Pumpkin,
opened the way to money.
Money began to come to me,
swarm around me
& multiply.
Let the path of money always lead to my house,
& never pass by.
So be it."
After that, fry the seeds in a frying pan until golden brown. Invite your entire family to dinner & feed them with your Pumpkin dinner. Once the Pumpkin dinner has been eaten, divide the seeds equally among everyone & let everyone eat them without leaving the table. Do not to tell anyone about the ritual. The ritual starts to work no earlier than in a month, at first you will receive a small amount of money & then the cash flow will start to increase quite quickly & will never end.

A less complex money ritual can be performed every day on the Waxing Moon until the Full Moon.
In the morning, eat 30 Pumpkin seeds on an empty stomach, repeating to yourself:
"Day by day, with health, with gold.
Just like you can't count the seeds on a Pumpkin field,
I don't know poverty,
I don't know how to rattle coins,
I don't know how to rustle bills,
I don't know how to count pennies.
So be it."

For the ritual, select 13 of the biggest beautiful seeds, wash the seeds in water. Pumpkin seeds need to be dried – to do this, spread them out on white paper. Pumpkin can be used to make porridge, pie, soup or juice. Put the dried seeds on a clean white cloth.

On the fourth day, eat 3 Sunflower seeds on empty stomach for breakfast.
The last, thirteenth seed, eat on the fourth day, before going to bed.
When eating seeds, do not throw away the husk, but put it in a specially designated box.
After all the seeds are eaten, the husk should be wrapped in paper & burned. Bury the ashes in a flower pot, saying :
"Money, sprout, grow strong, grow big!
So be it"
After that, plant a money tree on top of it.
Of course, no one should know that you performed this ritual.

Another Pumpkin Ritual for Money.
When you are preparing something with Pumpkin, separate 20 seeds. They need to be washed properly & put on a sheet of clean paper to dry, while you can continue cooking. When the seeds are dry, spread them out on a white cloth & say:
"In a dark dungeon in a remote prison,
the good ones are sitting-
well done,
they are sitting,
they do not move.
They don't say a word to each other
& don't see the white light.
I'll go out into the bright courtyard.
I'll swing a sharp knife, a thin knife, a sharpened one,
I'll free the good fellows.
Well done to find freedom,
& money to come to my house!
My word is strong, there is no other way.
So be it!"
After that, you need to fry the seeds with salt. Watch carefully, not a single seed should be lost!
After eating a Pumpkin dish for a dinner, secretly leave the house & eat 7 seeds.
On the second day, eat 3 seeds at lunch.
On the third day, eat 7 seeds after lunch &
on the fourth day, eat 3 seeds after breakfast.
Each time the husk from the seeds should not be thrown away, but put in your pocket.
After you have eaten all the seeds, wrap all the husks in a clean sheet of paper & set them on fire.
Say:
"Money, grow up!
Little one, man up, grow beard!
Become big!
So be it!"
In four days, it will take effect.

To banish an unwanted spirit or person, write a note detailing who must be banished.
