THE LANGUAGE OF RAVEN

Raven is a very cautious & distrustful bird, never lets a human get too close in wild but gets along well with animals, especially Wolves.
A long-lived captive Raven can imitate human speech, while pronouncing words clearly & can imitate various sounds surrounding him. They also have excellent memory. Having hidden supplies somewhere, they never forget their location.
Ravens live singly or in pairs & couples often do not break up even in winter. In late January to early February, mating games begin & in late February or early March, nest construction begins.
The family life of the Ravens begins with an amazing aerial dance performance & cuddling. After repeating the aerial dances over & over again they retire to build a nest in a tall tree. After laying the first egg, Mummy Raven does not leave the nest for a one minute, because the harsh February frosts can destroy the chick, hidden in the shell. From this day until the arrival of real spring, the only breadwinner of the whole family is the Daddy Raven.
When Raven loses a mate, he remains single for life.
Ravens leave their nests on the eve of famine or other social disasters.
