MAMMON
Mythological creatures, including demons, play an important role in the culture & religion of many nations & their images are reflected in literature, art & folklore.
In ancient times, people were deeply religious & atheism was rare. Religion played a crucial role in society. Everyone wanted to have a spiritual mentor & sought higher knowledge. People did not worship a single god, but rather a multitude of deities, each responsible for specific elements. The worship of various deities was a common practice, as evidenced by surviving archives & records. One of the most enigmatic demons has been Mammon. Mammon refers to the worship of money & the deification of wealth. The concept of Mammon is not unique in the world of mythology & religion & it appears in various forms & names in different cultures & religions.
Mammon has always been considered one of the most powerful & evil beings, a demon of abundance, luxury & bliss.
There are no specific rituals for summoning this demon. It is believed that if one seeks quick profits & immense wealth, Mammon will hear & appear to make a deal. This demon can help not only with money, but also with good luck in any endeavor, as well as with the ruin of enemies or competitors. Mammon is willing to fulfill even the most unusual desires of people but he will require an equivalent payment or tribute in return. In order to gain material wealth, people used to worship him & make regular sacrifices, which led to serious consequences. For example, Mammon could punish the parents by taking away all the newborns & future generations. This curse on the family could not be broken.
Mammon, the demon of wealth teaches that prosperity is not just about material accumulation, but about the embodiment of power, value & dominance. To walk with Mammon is to understand wealth as a spiritual flow, the sovereignty, authority & harmony. Being attached to Mammon can also lead to a loss of spiritual freedom & the inability to appreciate other aspects of life. The religion of money has demonic nature, considered the most submissive, as it divides people instead of uniting them. Material possessions make people cunning, greedy, evil & selfish, effectively stripping them of their humanity.
