HAVING A SUDDEN PREMONITION OR PANIC ATTACK?

Having a sudden premonition or panic attack?
Despite the fact that faith in omens & mysticism is an integral part of a premonition or “bad feeling”, which a skeptic simply won't believe in, there is another component: the games of our subconscious mind, which sometimes acts unnoticed by us. We don't see the events in detail, but we just feel it in our gut that something is going to happen. We can't explain it. Premonitions of bad things are associated with negative events involving loved ones, such as accidents, health problems or problems in personal relationships. On a global scale, we can anticipate natural disasters, the death of public figures or major events that the whole world will be watching. A premonition makes us expect something bad, often warning of dangers that can be avoided if necessary measures are taken. Waking premonitions can prepare us emotionally, so that the event will not be a shock to us but they can also be maddeningly vague. They arise suddenly, do not last long, push us to take a certain action or force us to avoid something. Premonitions can come in form of vivid or intense sensations coupled with a strong conviction that something is going to happen. We can dream about a future event that later happens, we can have powerful emotions that feel like predictions or experience vivid mental images that seem to predict the future, hear sounds or voices that seem to be providing us with information about the future.
How to distinguish a sudden premonition from an acute panic attack? Panic is extreme terror, cold sweat, palpitations, the inability to feel anything other than fear & the inability to act purposefully.
A sudden episode of intense fear is triggered when there is no real danger or apparent cause & last between 5 to 20 minutes. The attacks can come on very quickly. The symptoms will usually be at their worst within 10 minutes. Panic attacks can be very frightening. When panic attacks occur, we might think we're losing control, having a heart attack or even dying. After an attack, there is exhaustion & general weakness.
During sudden premonition we retain the ability to think & act. We might get chills, a tingling down the arms & back of the neck. We might have a clawing at the pit of our stomach. We might feel hot & bothered, restless & full of unnecessary adrenaline as our body gets ready for something we haven’t yet tracked. Sometimes it can feel like the whole horror of the world has opened up before us. But before we could realize what we had seen, the curtain fell & we were left with only a shadow of the memory of the nightmare we had experienced. This terrible cold can overtake us during a friendly conversation, on the beach, at a work meeting or anywhere. A chill runs through the skin & for a while everything seems meaningless & scary. Then it goes away.
