WHEN THE MIRROR BROKE

People in ancient times did not have mirrors but they could see their own reflections in the surface of water. The nature of reflection was incomprehensible & disturbing to them & any object that could reflect an image was believed to have magical properties. One of the earliest superstitions, which can still be found today, was the belief that mirrors could steal a person's soul. It was also believed that a mirror could open a corridor to the other world & allow dark entities to enter. Therefore, after ceremonies & rituals, mirrors are usually broken. In modern times esoterics recommend to cleanse them both physically & energetically.

You should not look into a cracked & broken mirror so that your life wouldn't shatter. Cover the broken mirror with a dark cloth & carefully collect the shards using a broom & dustpan.
You shouldn't leave any broken items in your home, even the hook where it was hanging, as this can attract negative energy. Large pieces of broken mirror can be rinsed under running water & small pieces can be collected using a black cloth. Stack the pieces of mirror with their reflective surfaces facing each other. You can cover them with black paint to prevent negative energy from seeping through.
The remains of the mirror should be carefully taken outside without dropping a single piece. Bury the shards as far away from your home as possible, away from people. This will help to completely eliminate any remaining negative energy.
